The Almond Achievement Award is an honor given to one outstanding individual each year at The Almond Conference’s gala dinner. Nominees should have proven service and contributions through a long-standing, direct involvement in the California Almond industry. But Almond Board Program Coordinator Kendall Barton says nominating someone is easy.

To nominate someone all you have to do is email Barton with the person’s name and why you think they deserve the award. The Almond Board then looks into the nominee’s qualifications and votes to determine who gets the award this year. The Almond Board has more information on their website.

The Almond Conference is December 3-5 in Sacramento. For more information, click here.
