There is more than one reason. Among them are; income worries, isolation, market fluctuation, and a half-dozen other reasons. The fatality rate is higher than any other occupation.
The suicide rate varies in different parts of the country. I will not say where the highest rate is. Here is one reason the rate is so high. Many cases are listed as accidents. Now, I am wondering if many of those suicides wasn’t in fact an accident.
