There is no solution to what causes CCD but to those studying the problem and looking for a cure are convinced, it is a series of problems. And, they feel that the two most significant problems are pesticides and parasites. Farmer must have pesticides to in order to produce a successful crop. The problem will not end. But, beekeepers have found that better care can reduce their losses. One producer in California has reduced his losses to about ten percent annually. The general loss range is about thirty percent. His method of saving his colonies is not a simple effort. It requires a whole new system of development. But, if it works for him, it should work for others. How many are willing to try?
