AGNET MEDIA INC. ASSUMES COMPLETE OWNERSHIP OF AGNET WEST RADIO NETWORK

(Fresno, California/Ocala, Florida) – AgNet West Radio Network is pleased to announce its entire business operations have been fully acquired and will be merged into AgNet Media, Inc., which includes a group of farm media properties solely owned and operated by Gary Cooper and Robin Loftin. Both Loftin and Cooper were instrumental in launching AgNet West in California in 2012, and Cooper has been the network’s General Manager since its inception in 2012.

AgNet West remains the most localized, relevant and targeted farm radio network in California, the nation’s top farm state. All AgNet West broadcasts, under the direction and guidance of Farm News Director Sabrina Hill, will continue to originate from Fresno County, the nation’s No. 1 agriculture-producing county. Hill has a distinguished career in radio and television news reporting in central California. She has been with AgNet West since 2012 and was named its news director early in 2013.

Cooper and Loftin recently merged all of their farm media interests to become AgNet Media, Inc., after growing and operating successful farm broadcast networks, farm related magazines and agriculture events for more than 25 years. These include Southeast AgNet Radio Network, operating with localized programming in Florida, Georgia and Alabama; Citrus Industry magazine; Pest Pro magazine; and Citrus Expo, a major industry event; along with a small farm books sales and publishing company and a recently acquired contract to publish a turf industry publication.

AgNet West Radio Network affiliate stations have combined signals that reach more than 95 percent of the state’s agriculture-producing regions. All affiliates have aired all four daily network programs since the network went on-air in 2012. AgNet West Radio Network Now Well Established In California – Announces Staff Changes

AgNet West is pleased to announce Sabrina Hill as its Farm News Director.

“Considering the incredibly rapid and successful establishment of the network statewide to serve California farmers and the nation’s largest ag state, these new network role assignments are a perfect fit to match talents and needs, and to continue to establish the network’s lead position in farm broadcasting in California,” said Gary Cooper, General Manager. Cooper is also the Founding President of Southeast AgNet Radio Network, a highly successful agriculture news radio network covering Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

Hill has spent most of her life in the heart of California’s ag land. She started her journalism career as the Agriculture and Education Reporter for a daily newspaper and a short time later was hired as a News Producer for an all-news radio station in Fresno, CA. Since that time, she has expanded to not only report and produce radio news, but television as well. She hosted a local television show and was an award-winning news producer for the area’s CBS affiliate. In addition to receiving a Best Newscast award from the Radio and Television News Directors Association, Hill has been published in newspapers, magazines and college textbooks. She brings a strong news background and a passion for agriculture to AgNet West.

As Farm News Director, Hill is responsible for anchoring all programming, overseeing news posting to the online portal www.AgNetWest.com, producing the new weekly AgNet West eNews, along with in-the-field reporting and other news coverage.

AgNet West is pleased to announce its newest tool to deliver agriculture news to California: the weekly AgNet West eNews. Starting February 7, 2013, it will arrive directly in e-mail inboxes each Thursday.

AgNet West eNews is specifically designed for farmers and others interested in California’s agriculture industry. A reader-friendly format will contain timely news stories, links to important agriculture information and a calendar of events.

(Ocala, FL / Fresno, CA) – AgNet West Radio Network is pleased to announce it has hired J.L. Farmakis, Inc. to represent its national sales efforts. The network launched July 9, 2012, quickly clearing its programs on twelve charter affiliate stations, covering the vast majority of California agriculture with prime morning and midday network airtimes. “It’s about time California finally has its own farm network!” said KROP Owner/Operator Teresa Allen. The Brawley, CA station covers the famous Coachella and Imperial Valley farming regions of southern California and was the first of several to sign up even before the network went on air. After the first week her comments echoed others, “We’re proud to add AgNet West to our prime time lineup. Audience response is very positive!”
