AGNET MEDIA INC. ASSUMES COMPLETE OWNERSHIP OF AGNET WEST RADIO NETWORK

(Fresno, California/Ocala, Florida) – AgNet West Radio Network is pleased to announce its entire business operations have been fully acquired and will be merged into AgNet Media, Inc., which includes a group of farm media properties solely owned and operated by Gary Cooper and Robin Loftin. Both Loftin and Cooper were instrumental in launching AgNet West in California in 2012, and Cooper has been the network’s General Manager since its inception in 2012.

Hillman

AgNet West remains the most localized, relevant and targeted farm radio network in California, the nation’s top farm state. All AgNet West broadcasts, under the direction and guidance of Farm News Director Taylor Hillman, will continue to originate from Fresno County, the nation’s No. 1 agriculture-producing county. Hillman has a distinguished career in television and radio news reporting in central California. He has been with AgNet West since 2013 and was named its news director in late 2017.

German

Multi-Media Journalist Brian German joined the team mid-2017. German has several years of experience working for multiple media outlets throughout the Central San Joaquin Valley. He earned his B.A. degree in mass communication and journalism from California State University Fresno.

Cooper and Loftin recently merged all of their farm media interests to become AgNet Media, Inc., after growing and operating successful farm broadcast networks, farm related magazines and agriculture events for more than 25 years. These include Southeast AgNet Radio Network, operating with localized programming in Florida, Georgia and Alabama; Citrus Industry magazine; Pest Pro magazine; and Citrus Expo, a major industry event; along with a small farm books sales and publishing company and a recently acquired contract to publish a turf industry publication.

AgNet West Radio Network affiliate stations have combined signals that reach more than 95 percent of the state’s agriculture-producing regions. All affiliates have aired all four daily network programs since the network went on-air in 2012. Affiliate stations presently include: KCAA-AM, Loma Linda/San Bernardino; KERN-AM, Bakersfield; KION-AM/FM, Salinas; KPAY-AM, Chico; KRKC AM, King City; KXO-AM, El Centro; KSRO-AM, Santa Rosa; KFIG-AM, Fresno; KYNO-AM, Fresno; KBLF-AM, Red Bluff; KMYC-AM, Marysville, KSTN-AM, Stockton; KVEC-AM, San Luis Obispo; KSMA-AM, Santa Maria; and KYOS, Merced.
