The Almond Board of California held its annual Almond Quality and Food Safety Symposium this week in Modesto. Sabrina Hill reports.

Several speakers gave presentations and topics from possible contamination from compost in the orchard, to sanitizing practices when it comes to shoes and floors in processing facilities. Grower Dave Phippen says as with previous years, the symposium was very informative.
